ಬೇರೆಯವರ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ನೋಯಿಸುವುದು ಸುಲಭ
(ಮರವನ್ನು ಕತ್ತರಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೇ)
ಆದರೆ ಅದೇ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಖುಷಿ ಪಡಿಸುವುದು ತುಂಬಾ ಕಷ್ಟ,
( ಬೆಳೆಯುವ ಗಿಡದ ಹಾಗೇ)

Hurting others is easy like cutting trees....
But making one happy is very difficult
like growing tree.

ಉನ್ನತಿಯ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಭ್ಯತೆಯ ಅಗತ್ಯ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಇರುತ್ತದೆ-ಯಂಗ್ 

ಗೌತಮ ಬುದ್ದ

ಸಾವಿರಾರು ಜನರನ್ನು ಗೆಲ್ಲುವವನು ವೀರನಲ್ಲ, ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಗೆಲ್ಲುವವನು ವೀರ-ಗೌತಮ ಬುದ್ದ 

ನಮ್ಮ ಸುತ್ತ ಮುತ್ತ ನಡೆಯುವ ಎಲ್ಲ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ ಸಾಧಿಸುವುದು ಅಸಾಧ್ಯ, ಆದರೆ ಅವು ನಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಪರಿಣಾಮ ಬೀರುವುದನ್ನು ನಿಯಂತ್ರಿಸುವುದು ಸಾದ್ಯ.


ಬಿರುಮಳೆ ತಡೆಯುವುದು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗದಿದ್ದರೂ ಅದರಿಂದ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ಸಾಧ್ಯ

ಮಹಾಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಹಾತ್ಯಾಗದಿಂದ ಮಾತ್ರ ಸಾಧಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯ. ಅನ್ಯಾಯದ ಸ್ಥಾನವು ಅಭದ್ರವಾದುದು. ಅದರಿಂದ ಏಳಿಗೆ ಆಗದು.-ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದ.

ದಾನ ಮಾಡಿರಿ. ಆದರೆ ಅದರಿಂದ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಬೇಡಿ. ಅದು ತಾನಾಗಿಯೇ ವಾಪಸ್ ಬರಲಿದೆ. -ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದ.
